How to Submit a Site

Every site in the Wedding Searches directory belongs to a particular subject category. These categories are maintained and updated by our editors. Our editors review random sites, as well as sites suggested by our visitors. While we welcome site suggestions, all submissions are subject to editor evaluation. If you would like to suggest a site (URL), please read the following guidelines and then follow the step-by-step instructions.

• Make sure that your site is not already listed in the Wedding Searches directory.
• Do not submit sites that redirect the user to another site.
• Do not submit sites with adult content.
• Do not submit mirror sites or sites that contain identical content with different URL's.
• Do not submit sites that consist entirely of links or are devoid of original content.
• Do not submit sites that are "Under Construction".
• Please keep in mind that our editors maintain the right to delete, edit, reject or even ban submissions that violate our policies or are considered not to be in keeping with the general principles and purpose of the Wedding Searches directory.

Browse through the content of the Wedding Searches directory until you find the category that best describes the content of your site. Don't worry if you can't find an exact match, you will have the opportunity to suggest a category when you submit your site.

Once you have found the category that best describes your site, go directly to the category page. The name of your category should appear at the top of your category page (Ex. "Caribbean Resorts"). Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the "Submit a Site" link.

You will then be prompted to provide our editors with your site's URL, title, a brief description, key words, your e-mail address and any comments or special information you would want the reviewing editor to know about your site.

An editor will review your submission to determine the best category, description, key words and rating for the site. The site rating is based on our standardized site survey, which analyses your site's load time, navigational tools, appearance, structure, ease of use, readability and e-commerce tools (where applicable). If the editor accepts the site, it is made active in the directory and available to the search engine. If the site is rejected you are welcome to resubmit the site after a period of no less than four weeks and after updating the content of the site.
